Big Sandy School will honor our local Veterans with a special Veterans Day celebration on Wednesday, November 11th.
Schedule
Coffee and danishes will be served beginning at 9:00am for all Veterans followed by the Veterans Day Assembly at 10:00 am.
Veterans in attendance will be introduced, then all Veterans and their families will be thanked for their commitment and sacrifice.
Luncheon
A luncheon will follow to honor the Veterans and their spouses. Family and friends are also invited; lunch is free to all Veterans and $5.00 per person for family members and guests.
RSVP
Veterans wishing to be part of the celebration, please RSVP to Tara Lane, no later than November 9th. Include in your RSVP how many will attend lunch, your full name/rank, number of years of service, brief description of what you did/doing, and your phone number/address and email address.
Memorabilia
You are welcome to bring memorabilia to be displayed as well.
