Dear Big Sandy School Community,
The Simla Thrift Store has adjusted their Easter plans. Instead of having an Easter Egg Hunt, they will be passing out Easter Egg Bags as per a drive through from 10:00-4:00 on Friday (tomorrow) at the Simla Thrift Store for 1 year olds through 10 year olds.
Grab and Go lunches went well again today, please sign up again for next week using the following Grab and Go Lunch Form or call 541-2291. (Please sign up each week, thank you)
Drop-Off Box for Paper Packets
We now have a paper packet drop off box at the school. Town of Simla students, please use the drive through at the school and drop off finished school work in our new drop off box. Students living outside of the Town of Simla, if it is easier for you to drop off your work at the drop box, that is OK.
Wednesday Deliveries of Paper Packets Continue
We will still be delivering new paper packets each Wednesday to in town students as well as via the bus routes to out of town students.
Friday Night Lights for Hope
Again as a reminder, starting this Friday night you may notice the stadium lights turned on at the baseball field. There is no event taking place, nor is this a call to come up to the baseball field. Rather it is meant to be a sign of hope and a message to our students.
The staff at Big Sandy want to light up the night sky to let all students know that we miss them and that we are thinking about them.
We hope that our students and families are in good health and safe. We don’t know what the future holds, but we know that WE ARE SIMLA and our hope is strong.

Light of Hope will continue each Friday night from 8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. until we come back to school!
